Tmr is a Holiday!!
Yay!! tmr is a holiday=can play and take time to recuperate. hehee. not sure wad i will be planning for tmr's schedule though. maybe Run, EAT, study,rest,EAT,study,EAT. lol
i have a very good recommendation to make. this ice-cream stall opposite starbucks, which is located outside United Squre, UDDERS. it sells Alcoholic icecream!! COOOl right??! go try, sample all flavours if u like... they dont mind. (i think) opening hours: Daily frm 12pm onwards..
i managed to sell off most of my yr 1 TB. my sales? 40bucks. still waiting for the econ book sale news.. heheee. wad am i going to do with money? dont know. dont ask yet. when its time, i'll blog about it.
btw, today @ school, i had a lab lesson, on how to use Microsoft Access. the process of typing the data in to the tables is so tedious!!! ahhh.. and wad made it worse was that i was typing so slowly. LOL. anyway, i have to get it over and done with.
on my way home, there was this chinese guy sitting behind me was blasting his handphone, so inconsiderate!!! boo! and wad made it WORSE was that he was singing the songs.. so monotonous and off-pitch. Double boo!! (if his voice was good, i wont mind) lol.

Ben & Jerry's!well, i had a super long day. now, i'm super tired. loli had classes frm 9-1pm. tutorials and then a lab briefing on how to search for info from the net.
then caryn and i went over to whitesands to queue up for the free ice-cream! we had lunch first though. then caryn had something later part of the day, so she headed home for a short nap.Qiuuyuan's class was at whitesands too.. =D.they were there for their serving of icecream.
well, i wanted my ice-cream, so i queued and queued and queued... those secondary school students frm XXX ( white blouse and bright blue skirts) kept cutting my queue!! boo!
so many of them!! it is an outrage! i saw cheryl my pri skool friend. =)
FINALLY, FINALLY,i managed to get hold of my ice-cream after a long wait of
one hour!
this pri school girl was caught by me eating on the bus. ( by the way, there was another lady in her 20s munching on a packet of super rings too. i dint manage to snap a picture of her. )

well, today was a tiring day for me. though i only need to be in skool by 12pm and end at 4plus, i am tired cause i was carrying around 3 heavy books that i wanted to sell.. i thought i could sell all my books at the booth. BUT not knowingly, i went to the A&F booth.
i feel so dumb. lol. i was like y arent u taking the other boooks?!?!!!
anyways, i managed to find the BSC booth, and sold my books. yay! i hope the freshies will choose my books and buy them. my books are very well kept ok. mind you!!
i am sellling my management, csa and stats bk tmr. =) and the collection of money i get will be used to get my yr 2 books.
btw, i chose my HRM grp mates already. they seem to be agood bunch. Keefe, Shaun, Caryn, winner and I.
my Public speaking grp aint bad either. Yongjian, vanessa and i.
well, after class i went to T3 with qiuyuan and wanyun. we had a super early dinner. at 5plus. we ate at the coffee club. i ordered the alfredo and we shared the fondue. yummy.
we then walked around T3, and sat at the viewing mall for a very long time. looking at planes land. hahaa. then to HARRIS to browse at books.
i was dead tired when i got on bus 24 and slept almost thru out the whole journey

i had my public speaking and innovation-principles and practice tutorial today.
first things first, i am glad to have 2 of my classmates to be in the same class as i am for public speaking. =)
well, public speaking is a non examination subj. which is a good thing. its just presentations and presenations. so its kinda good as it is able to help me with my presentation skills. cause i am always nervous when it comes to presentations. hehehe..
my tutor, miss sumathi;( su.mer.ti) is a friendly and jovial person. hehee. comical too. ok.
ok, innovation-pp tutorial, shocking!! i terms of the coursework that is needed to be completed.
no, its not a examination subject but the requirements are really high!!!omgosh!!

in grps, we need to come out with a working product!! ahh.. but good thing my grp and i thought of a good idea. hehee.. and the tutor liked it so much that he kept giving us idea to improve on our idea. for the presentation, we will be wearing formal and will be presenting to a grp of lecturers and a outsider (who might just give us the money to expand on a business if he chooses our product. amt he is willing to put in is alot lei. imagine that tp is willing to give us 60k-80k to invest already. wad more an investor. )
well, there are other components for this cds module. case study, indiv presentation...yah..

school has resumed. Classes have been randomly rearranged into the different speciality.
resulting in me being alone with no one i know. haha. i guess i have to make new frenx. =
anyway, i have yet to get to know all my classmates yet. that is why BIG is organising this Business day for the Dip in Bus students. =D
thankfully i managed to click with some girls in class. carine, winner and huiying. yay.
well, on tues i clashed tues MBS lect. so that i dont need to wait frm 11-2 to like go for the lect.
yah.
Wed was the CCA day. i signed up for Morden dance. hehe. i miss dance very much. =D
i also went to kinokunyia to get a book for myself. its called
HOW TO BECOME A STRAIGHT A STUDENT by Cal Newport.
i find the book very interesting. and helpful. i have already started using some of their tools. =)
i believe that this book is able to eqiupt me with the skills and will help improve my GPA. yays!

i woke up at 5.45am, purpose? i'm helping out at the week 0 orientation. for regatta at bedok reservior. it rained before i left my house. so? thanks siti for sheltering me to the bus stop. hehee. well, i was supposed to meet szehui at 6.45 am. but i was late. sorry!
farhan the IC told me to meet him at the bedok reservior itself. ok, so we walked over and waited there. when we were there, he wasnt!!!! he reached there and passed us our shirt.
I love the shirt. TPSU shirt. whahaa.
anyway, szehui and i were like walking frm school to bedok reservior back and forth 3 times!!
hmm, the duty was slack. just clear pathway for PLMGS girls to run their cross country.
hahaa, to my amazement, some girls were carrying big breakfast, umbrellas, koko crunch breakfast cereal boxes and electronic fans when they were running!!
szehui and i were like laughing our heads off.
we had a long day, so to cut things short, business school won the most sprited award, the regatta award, the olypiad award and overall champion!!
yay! well, tpsu went onto the platform and did a mini performance. the hand sign song, chicky dance, the school song and the super long cheer.
btw i saw kaihui and jasmine at the orientation. hope to see them around the school when school starts.
Saturday
i was so tired from the previous day that i slept till 10am.
whahaha. i ate alot for breakfast too. tauhui, some chicken porridge, beef horfun and tausuan.
it was the most hearty breakfast i ever had.
my family and i went to watch a play at the Singapore Repertua Theater. at clark quay.
the play was about enouch and another was about teenagers in a mental house. my sis was one of the characters. her character name? Motor mouth.
heehehee.
the play was good. had several touching and commical scences.
after the play, we went to have supper at a taiwanese cafe. we had dimsum. =D
yummy.
Sunday
i went for service. and i realised that today is the one hundredth and one day of the yr 2008!
well, service was good. Pastor melvyn talked about the fear of the lord.
i rushed down to PP to meet wanyun. i intially wanted to give her a surprise by going to her booth to say hi, but Giant hypermart was so huge that i couldnt find the location of her booth.
ahh, finally i managed to find her. we had a good chat. about 20mins i presume.
yay, my monday class starts at 1pm.
which means i can sleep in!

hmm. my class time tables is out. and i kinda love it. cause there are no long breaks in between.
and wads best is that on mondays i start school at 1pm!! wahaha. i can sleep in. wooho.
tuesdays i start school at 9 and end at 1pm
thurs i start school at 2 and end at 7pm
and fri, i only need to be in school for 2 hours!! 9- 11am.
wahahaaa..
but i have yet to find my frens who will be in the same class as me. =(
sad sad sad.
qiuyuan and wanqi are in the same class. so gd!! i'm so jealous.
God, pls put friends i am familiar with in the same class as me.

ya, i went shopping with my mum. heheee.
i went to collect my bag from BEGA, then went to park the car at BISHAN, then took train to orchard.
Guess wad? i met Ernest on the train. haha. talked to him non stop. he was like carrying a black box and a small sling pouch. to put his 2 phones.
lol. he told me that he was approached by Yr 2 poly students and they tried to 'bully' him
cause they taught that he was in yr 1. but he is in year 3!!!
lol. so funny.
ok, back to me and my mum. my mummy took me to look at jewelery. those exqusit ones. we dint dare to step into the shop. haha, she told me next time must look carefully before purchase.
she even told me that yellow pearls are rare
black pearls are old ones
white pearls are the young ones.
hehee. we even stepped into a LV shop. cause my mama thought that there was a sale or some sort. hahaa.

I went shopping today with my mama. but i paid for all the stuff i bought.
here is the list of items i bought.
1) spongebob shirt -12 bucks
2) a pair of pink dress shoes - 12.90
3) a pair of silver dress shoes - 12.90
4) a brown BEGA bag. 39
we went to two places. AMKhub and Bugis Village.
i bought the shoes and spongebob shirt frm bugis village and the Bega bag from
Amkhub.
ahh, my salary isn't in the bank yet!!!!!

first things first, i have changed cell leader. the whole cell group moved to Celine's side.
Celine seems very friendly and outgoing.. her people too..
i just hope i can mix well with them. most are already into their twenties+++
haha.
that means that i am considered the younger ones in the cell..
B4 service, i was shopping at the John little sale at Expo hall 5. many stuff: clothes, perfume, shoes, accessories, toys, cookbooks..
the dress shoes were cheap. only 20bucks. but none of them were to my liking. =X
then i met up with aini and ling to play taboo. (its singapore version!!)
i just love the time spent with aini and my sis. its just like the good old days...
youth service was good. lots of singing of old songs though.
lots of praying too.
my mum told me that my paternal grandma wants to be baptised!! praise the lord!
Hooray! she even asked my dad if he wants to be baptised together with her. but i guess he is not ready yet.
i am looking forward to cell group on next sat. =D

Friday 11th april was the last day of work for me at SG Customs.
the job was more of a routine job than a brain using one.
mostly unstapling and data entry.pay is higher than expected though.
i was supposed to receive salary today, but dont know y it is not in the bank yet. =(
i want to get a new bag and a pair of new shoes b4 i resume classes on the 21 april.
well, i had a fun time after my work. muisan, pearlyn, kunyu and i went to eat at bugis area. to be specific, STEAMBOAT.
hehee. there were two soup base. chicken soup and tomyam soup.
each person 15 bucks.
there were quite a variety of food at the stall though. crab, beef, liver, wonton, prawns, and lots of other food stuff...
i ate alot. but had to control myself. hehee... i did not want to eat excessively. =X
kunyu, muisan and pearlyn had their share of deserts at swensence. i did not. hehee..
i'll be helping out at the week 0 orientation in TP. REGATTA= dragon boat.
i'm not sure if i will get to be on the boat, but at least i am going to help out in the activity.!!!!

Singapore flyer
my family and i went to view the Singapore Flyer. beautiful structure. but the tickets are too pricy. u'll never catch me on the flyer. unless there are free tickets issueed to me. but that is unlikely too. ha. here are some pictures. enjoy!

i went rollerblading with ling and aini last sat. it was a fun time of catching up with each other. =)
aini taught me how to master my fear of slopes.
(cause i am ALWAYS scared to go down them. scared of falling on my butt!)
anyway, i am no expert. i fell on my butt twice. my pace was slow though.
holidays are coming to an end. 2 more weeks!
i had a great time resting and earning money while working at Singapore customs office.
i'm waiting for the money to be banked in and i will draw some out to spend. maybe 200 out of the 1100 i will get.
