God's timing is always GREAT

My Visa Application was into its 5th week of its process already.
And the process usually takes 4-8 weeks.

The reason why I was panicking was because the immigration side may not approve my visa because I'm going over 3 months earlier. :O I've also booked my air ticket on 11 June.

YES! and just on Sunday, I prayed and wrote the prayer on my diary. Just on Monday, I missed a call from the High Comm. The recept wont put me through to the Immigration side. She asked me to wait for another call.

yes.. so i was quite attentive to my phone for the past few days. :S wahahaa. I've still had not received any calls, but I've received a mail and my VISA IS APPROVED!! :D

Praise God! :) I'm dancing around the house earlier.

Well, here is an update toooo!! I've also learnt how to use a sewing machine today!
I've just sewed 2 hankies! :) They are pretty! 1 for my mum and one for myself :)

and i was reading it and i came across this page

Well, I'm almost done with my visa application. i will be submitting it tomorrow! Finally!!!
And I have good news, i wont need to surrender my passport as of now to the Highcomm. Thank God!
and, yes that means i can go for the JB leaders camp. :)
I was @ Raffles place earlier with mum to go to the Highcomm to clear all my doubts, and going back to Republic plaza brings fond memories. hahaa, I was thinking if I might bump into any one of my previous colleagues. I MISS THEM!! Anyway, I will be back @ Raffles place area again tomorrow, so till then, i hope i may bump into some familiar faces! :D

Yeah, and im learning how to play the guitar again..now with more commitment. :D Cause i'm freer now can practice once i'm done with my errands.
I WANT TO BRING THE GUITAR OVER TO CANADA SO IT CAN BE MY COMPANION.
So, learning how to play now can make things easier :)

2 mths may seem long for me to pack, learn to cook, spend time with family & meet up with friends AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, TRAIN FOR MY UPCOMING MARATHON before i leave for my further studies. But it isn't! haha. Cause i got 3 camps coming up and all are in the month of May and start of June, which means I will have 3 wkends less to spend to do the above. muhahhaa.

Well, at least I've got my packing started! cleared some stuff by my bed side. AND! i cooked lunch for my family earlier, of course with supervision from prof SITI. :) Received praises. :D
I need to learn to cook so i can prepare some simple dishes for myself when im alone la. I cant possibly eat out everyday. :S

Spiritual Warfare Weekend (SWW)

The experience was just so amazing for me.

I attended SWW on Friday, there was one topic on power of ministry.

And towards the end of the session, Pastor Yong was releasing prayer requests given by the intercessors

and there was one directed to a lady who has this condition of heel spurs.

And suddenly i felt a prompting to pray for her from where i was seating.

i prayed for her to be healed and for her to complete a 10km run by the end of the year.

Then on Sat morning, the session was on Ministry of Healing.

Oh yah, there is always a practicum after every session so we can practice what we have learnt.

then this practicum was to go find someone we dont know and ask God for 3 things that we can pray

for that person.

Then, because I was unable to find a partner from my seat, I had to move out of the row to find one.

ok, then i made eye contract with this lady around 50+ (aka Aunty)

I prayed for her work, ministry and for illness to be healed.

and then, when i was done praying for her, she asked me if I heard properly from God,

and I said: 'Eerrr, yah!"

She then shared that she was the lady with HEEL SPURS!!!!!!!!!!!

and then I just broke down and cried.

Because, like how is it possible to even meet the person with heel spurs? Coincidence?

I think not! It is divine planning by God. The audi was quite packed and how is it possible for me to meet her??

Im just so amazed. SO AMAZED.

and oh! yah, the lady was healed from her heel spurs yesterday. Im glad that I listened to the prompting and prayed for her too! God healed her!! WWWEEEeeeeeeeeee!! PTL!

And i told her that as I was praying for her healing, I prayed that she will be able to run 10km right, so i asked if she is a runner or into sports. Rmb , she is an aunty. hahaha. She said she is a dancer, wahaha.

so she said its quite close. haha.

Amen. praise be to God. He just works in wonders. :)

I'm going to Canada to study!!

YES! I'm going Canada to study.
yeah, I've told this to most of the ppl ive met up recently.
Well, some may have heard I wanted to study @ SIM previously.
Here is why there is a change in decision.

It all began @ the Xmen camp-Teens xite service last year,
Pastor Daniel was preaching on a sermon on the Burning Bush. (On how Moses encountered God) It was an extended worship service. We were told to pray for directions in our lifes and for God to speak to us. Well, i asked for the direction for which uni to accept to if an offer was given.

Then, I saw 2 visions: - 4 "S" lightning flashes
- grad ceremony (saw myself on stage receiving an award, like for outstanding results )

then I asked God, what does 4 s lightning flashes mean?
Well, at the point in time, I had applied for 3 Uni in Canada and planning to apply/waiting for SIM registration to open.

Actually, I was quite against going to Canada for several reasons.

So i tot the Vision of 4 "S" was "SIM SIM SIM SIM!!'
yeah, cause my heart had other motives/fears.

I fear of graduating older than girl friends,
I fear of stepping out to work later than normal girls = need more time to save up b4, finding my partner, getting married and start a family.
And of course, my ministry!!

THEN, I remembered this verse I read during my Quiet time,
"When we covet something contrary to God's will, God will give it to us, but only to regret it later. "
Yeah, I dont want to regret what God has planned for me, so I'm going!!

YES, so the 4 "S" means this:
RYERSON UNIVERSITY, TED ROGERS SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT
(so cool right??) I've underlined all the "S'

Yah and I can feel a change in me. Previously when my parents talk about sending me over to Canada to study, I'll be all jumpy and totally shut off. (I'm the inward rebellion kind, so i wont shout or say anything, just keep quiet. But somehow my actions can see that I am not interested in going.)
BUT now, I sense a change in character. (I feel all excited to go now. :) )

YES!! and during the recent G12 conference, Pastor Cesar was preaching about Dreaming dreams for God, and asked who wants to open their house and start a cell group and so I STOOD UP!
Yeah, Im gg to lead a cell once I've settled down.

Yeah, thats all what I've got to share. :)

TRAINING FOR SG BI.

hmm. its been so long since i blogged. so here goes. :)

I need prayers for my Swim trial. its a open sea swim 1.5km. Jenny and I will be participating.
so do pray for both of us. :D
Do pray that we will be fine in the water.. able to adapt quickly to the 'not so clean' water,
pray that we will not suffer any leg/hand cramps. pray for good weather and good currents
(i am not sure what type of currents are better and easier to swim in.), pray for our muscle aches
to be gone, pray for loads of energy so that we will be able to complete the swim in less than 50min.
well, so far, Jenny and I have been practicing and our timings have improve gradually..
so i thank God for that :)

MOST OF ALL..please pray for me. i am kinda afraid to swim in the sea.. yes i have asked God to
remove the fear from me.. but i know i need to have the courage to face my fears and to step into the
sea to start swimming first before God can make the miracle happen.

i was just reading "Fearless" by Max Lucado on my way to work and this verse speaks to me.
'I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind. And the peace I give the world cannot give. So dont be troubled or afraid." John 14:27 NLT

So i am gonna claim this verse and i will meditate it whilst i swim.. plus singing praise song while i swim.. (sing in my head, of course.)

I just wanna thank Jenny for training with me for the past 2 weeks. Thanks girl! <3 ya! :)
Thank u Sky for taking us to the sea and teaching us the necessary techniques needed for the swim leg.
I also want to thank all the prayer warriors in advance first.

This year NDP 2010 was spent wif Ahbee. :D

I enjoyed the parade. It was years since I had attended the parade, and wad more the actual NDP!

It was only by God's grace that my bro name was picked during the ballot and he willingly allowed me to take Ahbee to the parade.

The program was awesome and did not fail to captivate me. :D and the atmosphere was awesome tooo!

AND I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE FIREWORKS!!!!!!

Nvr had I been so close view of the fireworks ever since Sec 2? I cant rmb which yr i went to the preview wif my mum. :S

I just hope that there will be more opportunities opened to those who dint get hold of the tickets to watch the NDP next year. :D

And we had dinner at a Sushi place, by the time we ordered, it was closing time... but thank God we managed to place our orders.

PHEW, all 3 ( Ben, Claudia and I ) were starving. :S

40 days of faith-I can overcome

The 40 days of faith has begun.
I can, You can, We can!

I'll be leading a group of 8 ppl every tues 8pm for 6 weeks. from 1 Aug to 11 Sept. And during each week, different topics will be taught. the first lesson is You can overcome. 2. You can be healed. 3. You can win and have success. 4. You can be special. 5. You can do great things. 6. You can dream.

For now, i am just sharing what i have learnt as i prepare for the session tmr.

The first lesson: You can overcome.

I feel that it really speaks to me, cause I'm at a crossroad right now- My university admission.
I was rejected by all 3 universities; NUS, NTU, SMU and an overseas university
in Canada; York University. Probably because my grades arent good enough. The feeling of being rejected is like so disheartening.

These qns keeps me thinking.. Where am I going to study? Local private uni or overseas education? What am I going to study? What am I going to do if my ministry if I go over there for 3-4 yrs? Will I have a mentor/ frenz there to whom I can talk to during times of need?

But after watching the 40 Days of faith video, Nick Vujicic's is a real motivator. He has no hands and no limbs, but yet he did not let his condition affect him. He overcame his condition and then be a blessing to others!

Though mine is not a physical condition, but its a serious topic which matters to me. I just wanna thank all those who has stepped in to give me advice on my university education choices. My parents, relatives and friends. I will overcome this period in my life, and i will do it according to God's will. I will continue to pray and ask for directions.

Night Cycling!

Last friday, i had a super uber fun night with SMUF ppl. :D

we had night cycling under the stars!!

First we watched World Cup @ ECP Mac. hmm, it was a fun experience, looking @ the excited faces of ppl when their team scored e goals.. and hearing their screams of joy!! hahaha

The cycling part is awesome man! I LOVE IT!! I din noe that SG's night sky is so pretty till i get to see it for myself. The kallang bridge and the IR lightings!! oh man! i just wish that i had my DLR cam with me, then i will be like "click,click,clicking''. And if my sis was ard, she will be playing with the shutter speed, and then swirling the camera to make the nice effects. LOL.

Somehow, i was not as tired when cycling leh. maybe its all the talking which kept me awake. :)

I wanna thank David and Clarence for entertaining me thruout the cycling terrain. haha! w/o u both, i think i would have crashed into a tree or something due to tiredness.

The supper @ Lao Pa Sat was AWESOME!! the dim sum and the teh peng, kept me hyped up for awhile. :D

Everything went well :D except for the fall Jerome had due to the faulty bike chain which got disengaged with the gear. :(

Thank God, Ben was there as a 'Safety officer' with a car, so Jerome need not ride e bike to the rental shop. So the bike was parked and locked at a lamp post and Isaac will ride the bike back. then somehow the keys HL gave Isaac was wrong and he wld have needed to walk a long journey back, but thx to a nice guy who gave Isaac a ride back to the rental shop.

THEN!! Alex, Isaac and I went to pick the bike up. Found out that the chain was disengaged with the gear and we decided to drive the bike back. So the bike goes into the boot, with me! haha. then Alex and Isaac in the front seat. hehehee.

It was an Awesome night, Awesome weather, with Awesome company of frenx. PTL.

I cant seem to express how much i love SG now. hahaa.

This trip to Shanghai has been an enriching and eyeopening experience for me. Not forgetting to mention tiring too!!! imagine, walking/queueing to enter the pavilions for at least 10hrs per day over 5 days. WOW, isnt it. i think my legs muscles are better toned now. haha.

over the 5 days @ the Shanghai Expo 2010, my family visited quite a number of country and themed pavilions.

UK, Canada, Norway, Singapore, Sweden, Germany, India, Sri Lanka, Africa, Central and South America, Egypt, Australia and some others. too many to rmb.

Its quite a disappointment cause we couldnt see some very interesting pavilions. cause the queueing time is a total turn off.

Imagine, to see the italy/japan/Switzerland/korea and Saudi Arabia ppl have to queue for like 7 hrs to enter the pavilion! no way man! haha

The Expo has totally packed with ppl. with at least 350,000 ppl viewing it per day! can u imagine that??!! OMGOSH! and most of the visitors are ppl frm China. And these ppl have very bad habits. They love to cut queues, spit and pee anywhere they like. Squeezing with them at the queues at each pavilions, sometimes make me quite irritated. LOL.

The pavilion with the longest queue is Germany. my family queued for almost 4hrs! thank god i got my itouch with me. music and apps to entertain me. :D

hmmmm, din get to do shopping though. cause the main aim of this trip was to explore the expo. but we did manage to walk down Nanjing road, The Bund, Cloud Nine shopping mall. Just look see, look see.

Food here is really cheap and good. :D

imagine, we bought half a duck, some cha siew, 3 bowls of noodles and some other side dishes costs about $15. great deal right! hahah! :D

my family went to this arabian restaurant and the menu english translation CMI! i kept laughing. check out the pics.

the house is no more quiet. muhahaha. its good that they are back safely.

AHHH!

i feel so sick! FLU, SORE THROAT AND FEVER!

Was at work, for like 3 hrs. Felt sick, so took e day off. I dont think i am going work tmr too.

I think i just go back on wed for my last day of work. The last day of my contract. haha.

So i just slept and slept today. and Eat and Eat. Porridge only. :(

well, i went to IT fair on sat.
i managed to convinced my dad to buy me a MAC BOOK! and
juan also convinced my dad to get a SLR Cannon 550 for the family. :)
and i also got a free external hard drive frm buying the SLR camera. LOL. yay!

Last night frm 12 MN to 6 am, i was @ church for the 40 days of prayer event. I went with cell grp. The experience was great. i din know i can pray for 6 hrs straight. LOL.
I kept eating some light snacks and drinks to keep myself awake to pray. :)
YES and i did it!!
After the prayer, alex, celine, hl and i ate Macdonalds breakfast in the car as we head home..

Slept @ 7 plus..and..i woke up @ 12pm.
now preparing my party stuff... then later heading down to TP and then to cherlene's bdae party.
=D

today, i met up with coach, rynne and melo @ bugis to buy materials for blazers banner.
supposed to meet @ 12pm. end up all late. LOL!

anyways, we had a super duper yummy lunch at a malay stall @ arab street. i love their mee siam and iced lime tea. we managed to used up all the extra calories. Phew.

we did these ...
1) went to a fabric shop to buy cloth
2) venture into a ribbon shop, to source for ribbons suitable for cheer
3) wanted to have some fun @ a costume shop, but then realised that it had moved. ;(
4) walked frm arab street to coach house, under the HOT HOT HOT sun.
thankfully i got my shades with me.
5) headed to TP to make the banner. it took us 3 hrs to complete it.
sewing, cutting, gluing..

i am so glad that the team love the banner. =D

i enjoyed my day today.

i am so proud of myself today. i completed so many stuff.

1) i went to the gym to run 5km within 40min

2) headed down to tanjong pagar for lunch with claudia ben and nelson, signup for CMFAS, catch up with dbs staff.

3) meetup with pearlyn. had loads of fun with her. shopping, watched "Dear John",shopping then dinner then shopping again. i managed to get 2 tank tops from F21 and a pair of flats from far east. =D

wad i intend to do tmr is gym, plan for my bdae then head down to meet muisan to buy pearlyn's present. =D

i went shopping alone. zzz, but thats how i like it. i like shopping @ my own pace.
i went lunch @ PS, shopped at PS, then OC then 313. But i did not find anything i like leh.

The only thing i got was an ORANGE NAIL POLISH frm The Face Shop. and facial wash.

then headed home.
now i plan to sleep till tmr morning.

What is it like to be in a relationship??

I am sure that the couple will face happy times and as well as hardships.

Happy times:
Going out together, celebrating aniverasaries, receving gifts, holding each other hands, talking to each other before sleeping..

hardships:
quarrels over minor misunderstandings..

Sometimes, the hardships feel like that it last longer as compared to happy times. These events happen for a reason. They will somehow make the relationship stronger. No relationship will be smooth sailing..all perfect. There will be cases when one party disappoints the other. Because no one is perfect and the only thing both parties can do is to be patient with each other.

Both parties also MUST to learn how to forgive and forget.
i know sometimes its easy to forgive, but hard to forget.

As for now, being single is still the best. I can have all the freedom. =D
I am waiting for myself to be more mature first before i go into a relationship.

I find Law quite an interesting subj. =D But the memorizing of cases are so tough!!

last night, i stayed up till 4.30am to do my IB proj.
then woke up @ 9.30am. i survived today wif only 5hrs of slp.
but i am not gonna do this stunt again. cause i am gonna slp soon after this post.

anyways, i went for SMU talk today @ TP audi. collected some prospectus frm the 3 unis. =D
well, the talk by SMU was interesting as the way they teach is different from the other 2 unis.

after the talk... i had proj meeting from 1pm-6pm.
zzzzzz...

then rushed down to grandma's place to take care of her. :)
i am staying over @ my grandma's place tonight.
yay! kinda peaceful and quiet. just 3 ppl in the house. i can even hear the clock ticking!! hahahahahahahahahahhaaaaaa.

anyways.. proj meeting tmr @ 11am. zzzzz.
i want my beauty slp but i gotta get up @ 8am to prepare to go to TP. =(

hmmm.. i havent be blogging for awhile. too caught up with study and projects.

i got 2 tests coming up on nxt monday and thursay. then proj submission on the following monday and tuesday AND THEN STUDY WEEK..... THEN THE FINALS!!!!!

anyway.. i completed my NAPFA. i did better than i expected for all my stations actually.
here are the results.
1) shuttle run: 11.8s
2) situps: 38 reps
3) broadjump: 164cm (this is my weakest stn)
4) sit and reach: 52cm
5) incline pull ups: 13 reps
6) 2.4km run: 14.48min

estimated total points scored 22-25/30
haha! i am so proud of myself.

today is my gonggong birthday. 81st!
i pray that God will continue to bless him abundantly in health and happiness. =D

i've been slping late for the whole week. working past 2.30am..

last night was exceptional. i slpt at 1.30am. so i got slightly more time to slp.

sighs, and also studying for MA, LAW and IB tests which are due to come nxt wk.
then very morning wake up @ 7-7.30am. its like barely 6 hours of rest!!
ARGH!

Law lecture is as disturbing as usual.
the lecturer stops when a student steps in late.
i am not saying that its wrong to stop and pause..
but its irritating ok, isit so hard to just
continue teaching. if they come in late then its their prob lar.

today she made the late comers seat on the first few rows so that she can pick on them. like ask them questions..
anyway, today's law lect was quite interesting. as in the content.

then after that i had proj meeting for IB and POE. 1hr proj discussion. was quite productive.
then we headed to Ehub to do mkt research for POE. bus-ed down there.

ok.... fast forward to explorerkid indoor playground. when we were @ the entrance we were told we cannot go in cause got no "gina" then my proj grp members tried to negotiate lor..
after some discussion..and confused faces exchanges... we decided not to go in. LOL.
though we did not go in, we managed to collate some information. so its not a wasted trip down.

we had lunch @ MAC. couldnt finish fries and drink, as usual. (maybe i shld just buy the burger nxt time.) then...

back to sch for law tutorial. it was quite an eye opening tutorial. tutor have background experience so made tutorial very interesting. =D

ehh...now i am listening to 98.7fm while doing my law proj.
(as u can see i sided tracked a little to blog).

hie all, i am back from my short retreat @ sentosa

here are wad happened.
(copied frm my sista's blog. too lazy to type)

Checked in @ 2pm.
Drove around sentosa. Saw the gng to be ready IR & roller coaster was on trial.
Went to the Sentosa cove, saw rich houses cheapest bungalow costs S$10 million.
Than went to theONE°15 Marina. Saw PRIVATE YATCHS.
Went back to hotel. (Sneaked snowy in)
Parents went swimming, (i couldn't >: ) 4 kids went to da beach.
Played volleyball. Laughed like crazy.
Had buffet for dinner. 5 star restraunt yoh.
Played pool, table tennis, arcade after dinner.
Went back to room to sleeep. Slept round 1 am.
Next morning complimentry breakfast buffet. (Second day)
Watched 4D pirate show. (Got wind at your leg and water sprays o_o)
Went to IMAGES of singapore.
Awesome beach side food.( @ coasties)
Than sat skyride & luge. (Rain just stopped)
Had 3 free megazip tickets. HuiLing, ShiMing & my dad went.
Megazip = Super long awesome flying fox. (Quite scary though)
Dinner @ vivo.
Than went to catch AVATAR (First row seats, neck pain lah. )
Slept late.
Woke up at 7.
Complimentry breakfast again. SUPER NICE. (Y)
Slacked in the hotel room until checkout.
Went to Fort siloso.
Delifrance lunch! (mushroom soup sucks!)
4D EXTREME LOG RIDE. (Not up to expectations)

then home. to my awesome bed.

yay! so much for 2 weeks of study.
now its 2 weeks of break! and i have loads of projects to do!

1) POE- interview an entrepreneur, write a report on it.
2) IB- Research on Indonesia PEST analysis
3) Law - research on Ministry of Finance

project meetings are already set on both Wednesdays 1pm.
i have Kbox session with the Sretards on Wednesday too. boohoo.

i'll sorta be away on holiday. i'll be @ Sentosa over the weekend. hehee.
staying @ Rasa Sentosa hotel. =D
i pray that the weather will be fine and sunny so that we can do our activities.

today was the standchart perf.

Blazers were situated @ the Esplanade bus stop. we were there to cheer the runners!!
it was so much fun when i placed my hand out for them to HI-5.
some wacked my hand hard, some had super sweaty palms, and some were just mere touches.
dancing, stunning, cheering.
i had so much of fun, and i am gonna miss it so much. =(

then the cheer it on competition.
BLAZERS got 2nd. LEGACY ALL STARS came in 1st. WELLINGTON PRI 3rd.

overall, i am sure that i had fun. =D i just dont like the mud. yikes!
and my backward row sucks! tsk.

i went to have a night out with claudia-babe.
we decided to go to orchard to christmas lightings, but ended up shopping for clothes.
Claudia bought a dress and a pair of flats.
i bought a dress.

i fell in love with FOREVER 21 clothes today.
i went in and picked up a few of those nice pieces (in pics above)
and just took loads of pics. these are only some. haha

we are planning to have another round of shopping 2 wks later. @ bugis! woohoo!!

it poured heavily on sat night, when i am supposed to have the class gathering @ my house bbq pit. cannot do it outdoors, so i decided to do it indoors instead. so i opened my house for the bbq, so no bbq food, we had stoved cooked and oven baked food.
but, all went well!! though the bbq was a bit delayed cause many were stuck in the rain, but i am glad that those who agreed to come, came!

This bbq was planned like 1 mth back. LOL. during teachers' day celebration. Mdm Ng's request.

There was a good turnout.

BLAZERS PERFORMANCE FOR

SINGAPORE HEART FOUNDATION @ OPEN FIELD NEAR CAUSEWAY POINT (WOODLANDS) @ 4.40PM ON SUNDAY 25 OCT 09

my ankle is better, but still hurt sometimes. still cant run and jump around. i'm hoping i can return to training my BT soon. the sprain is not gonna stop me frm continuing BT.

Anyways, i had a stomach upset today. it was as if someone is squeezing my stomach like how you squeeze dry a towel after washing it. i had to eat two doses of POH ZAI YUN. and rub tummy oil on my tummy several times. =(

for lunch i had something light. fish soup noodle. couldnt eat everything.

and i managed to take a SHORT NAP!! 30 mins w/o being caught! hehehe!!

left work for trg. learnt the whole routine for sunday. stunts was fun. the cheer and tumbling too. AIYAH! basically, everything is fun! thats why its called CHEER!

Though trg ended late, i am glad that i did not miss trg due to my stomach upset.

argh! its starting to hurt again.

i hope the attire for sunday performance is the AYG black shirt! =)

internship briefing.

i am blessed to have Mr. tan (my prev Consumer banking tutor) to be my Liaison officer (LO).
At least i am able to strike a conv wif him easily.

Anyways, i am totally blessed with the DBS posting. seriously.
ok, my job is related to SME banking. like evaluation of loans... for co.
kinda cool to have learn this and be able to apply it to the job.
although i am the only intern working in that dept.. i have xinli working in the same building and bank as me. YAY!
the pay is good. i think its the best amongst all.
so, thank God again.!!

i have to wear formal everyday.. reach @ 8.3oam. hmm seems possible to me. =D

woah.. i have a super fun packed day! and tiring too...

church was fun.. the leaders = me got to play some games...
yiting and i played the 'DONT FORGET THE LYRICS'
i din had much of a choice though.. evanglyn, huiqin, psalmist pushed me up the staged.

i had fun singing the songs. 2 worship songs.

and then another grp of leaders did the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE game.
frm the 2 games, i can see tat there is talent is the Barnabas club leaders. hehee..

then frm there i headed to NUS frm expo!!!! with justin for Cheer exchange prog wif Alpha verse.
justin and i were kinda lost frm the train stn. we could not find the bus 95 stop.
and then when we found it... zzzzz... we boarded it and took it to the B07.
and then again. we had prob finding the place.. due to insufficient info.

SENTOSA!!

woohoo. i had a super fun day @ siloso beach with claudia, ben, minhui and pauline.
we had a fun time playing beach volleyball, though most of the times the ball only flew
one way.. but we had loads of fun running after the ball and laughing @ each
other missing the ball.

then we played card games. daidi and indian poker and heart attack.
heheheee... loads of fun relaxing. and got tan from just playing the cards. LOL.

then we took some jump shots.. hehheee.. but those on my cam failed so i din post.
then we walked frm siloso beach to palawan. cause claudia wanted to take pictures with the bridge. we took pics with the mini treasure island too. i got my fbt's wet as i was crossing the mini treasure island which has water jets spurtting about. sheesh.

we took pics on the palawan bridge and then headed back to vivo city.
claudia and i stayed back to shop.

we have iced kachang first. heeehee.. cause we dint have proper lunch.
(1 butter croissant each and then apple and carrot juice. )

then to TANGS. to spray perfume cause we stink. hehe. i sprayed the vera wang princess on my blouse. =DDD

then we walked into serveral shops... forever 21, pull and bear....and i got my flip flops frm 37 degrees! for only 14bucks.!! its a super good buy!!

i woke up at 10am!! thats my record timing so far. (that is after the sem has started till now)
i woke up at 8 plus cause my body clock is so used to waking up early and sleeping late.

hmmm, today was TCS flag day.
this is me and my tin. =)
initally i was scared to ask people to donate... all just tried to aviod me by walking away fast or ignoring me. but i pluck up my courage in my to ask the people. and they gave. =D

though the time spent selling flags was only a mere 3 hours,
it was kinda tiring for my arms! lol. my legs too!!

sheeesh!

anyways, later that day i went to raffles place area with yiting and joy. to shop around. but saddly i did not buy anything!!!
we walked a long distant...well kinda, frm city link to marina and then to raffles place.
we went in and out some shops...

NUM, HULA &CO, SPRINGFIELD, ZARA, RIVER ISLAND,DIVA....

my meaning is that we went in to see loads of shops but i did not see anything i like1!
ROAR! i think i prefer to shop alone. no stress at all.

after the window shopping, i headed home, had my dinner and baked a cake for jamie.
alex and i, together with the girls are celebrating her bdae tmr @ Gkidz.
i love the cake i baked. nice.

i will be leading the word tmr. gotta prepare it now.

heehee.. yes man!! its finally over! exams i mean.
after weeks of mugging and not watching tv and using com..

yesterday's paper was tough.. i had to scribble quickly and think fast.
lots of analyzing. TOO MANY QUESTIONS.

anyways, i went out with claudia, wanyun, kimjian, sandra, mary and cheryl
yeah, watched UP. i almost slept caused its my 2nd time watching. hehe.

shopped around wif claudia. she bought 2 tops. and is still looking for a suitable perfume.
i dint really see anything i like. so dint get anything.

erm.. i tasted aunty annie's pretezel nice. green tea flavour.

went back home had dinner then went to rent HSM3. was not really nice. sighz.
ohohoh.. i ate some B&J icecream while watching the movie. hehe.

(my thoughts are like all messed up. haha.)
i got one week to party before SIP starts. sighs.

i'm still going for regular cheer trainings.. so i guess i have to find time to study.
like very second, minute and hr is precious to me.

after class ended @ 12, i had lunch and then mugged all the way till training time.
all tat is in my head now is BTM, FA and MA.

ok. training was fun today. elevator- pop- craddle. and elevator extension.
i had some minor injuries on wrist and face.
its ok.

hmm. i scored a B for BTM class test.
thats a burden of my back. i was so afraid that i will not do well for this paper.
i could not sleep last night.

i thank God for his wisdom. =D

main exams are coming. 4wks time. time to start my engines.

anyways, BLAZERS is having performance again @ 2pm on monday, TP koi pond.

Steph and i are training for our backtuck and roundoff =D
yea. so that explains why steph and i were so sandy always after trainings
cause we were at the Ojump mats. :)

okies, my dad took e family out today.
first we went to killney rd for breakfast. Dim sum.
they have the weirdest combi for chee cheong fun.
1) strawberry
2)apple
and 3) durian!!

omgosh! they have loads of other flavour.. just that i couldnt rmb what were they.
anyways, i took a bite of the durian chee cheong fun. and it tasted like a DURIAN. duh.
nothing special.
the pork and century porridge tasted heavenly. awesome!!

After tat, papa drove to little india for exploration trip. walked past many old shop houses houses. there were several second hand shops.. blah blah.. basically its just to expose the family to the indian culture in singapore. =D

we walk and walked and walked and walked.....
and we found this post shop. its kinda like an art gallery.
but a very weird one indeed.
here is my description of it.

an empty apartment.. with just TVs in different locations.. one on the far end of the room which had this video of clay modeling cartoon of a man dancing..
then a white screen panel with many women faces Polaroid pics pasted on it. when the board is panel's light is off, it seems like a normal collection of faces. when the light is on...
eww.its disturbing. scratch lines.. could be seen on each pic. like SHUTTER..
yikes.
then TV with a recording of noises...

and thats it. all of my family members were equally disturbed by the art gallery.
okies, lets forget abt that..

the best thing is that we had lunch at the banana leaf restaurant.
i drank a cup of teh tarik, which explains why i am still up at this hour.
i love their chicken and spinich dip. we ate good food..
but their food portions were huge. i couldnt finish my rice. its like half eaten. wasted.

went home straight after that and i crashed onto my bed till 5pm ard 2 hrs of nap.
then woke up to do my tutorials and then to gramps. and now i just finished my proj portion with nelson. hmmp. i want proj to end soon!!

today was so hectic.

i woke up at 5.15am. ZZZzz.. got everything ready and left house @ 6am!!
thats freaking early. but i did not manage to reach tp on time. 6.45. instead i reached at ard 6.55am.
LOL.

and i found out that there are others who woke up at 4 plus. sheessh! and why am i complaining??

anyways, blazers were supposed to cheer for the torch relay runners who were supposed to pass the AYG torch to runners who will run all over singapore.
the Guest of honour was DPM Teo. he was a friendly guy. we took loads of pics with him.
i am hoping that the photographer will send us the photos. LOL.

yes being cheerleaders we love taking pics. once a camera is out... and the 'cameraman' says 1..2.. all of us will rush in front of the cam to have our pics taken. LOL.
and we LOVE LOVE LOVE corine's camera!! woohooo.
we spammed her camera.. like 300 or 400 odd pictures.

my grandfather was a great person. he took care of me since young and i remember the days when i was a kid together with my cousins we played at his house. although my gonggong is a man of a few words, he is a great person to talk to (although i have a little difficulty understanding him when he talks to me in teochew. )
i love him alot. and i always hug him when i leave for home during sundays.
i am glad that i had spent time with him on saturdays and during taiwan 2008 trip too.
he will be fondly remembered in me and i am sure in my cousins , parents and uncle and aunties.

my grandfather passed away on 6.6.09 11.45am.
i was not by his death bed, as i was at cheer training. when i saw the msg papa sent i quickly cabbed back to see my gonggong.

well, my grandfather last wish was to have a grand taoist funneral and his sons and daughters decided to accept his request. so the wake lasted for 5days. so i was at amk for the past few days. there were many rituals. i chosed not to take part in some.

this few days were sad. loads of crying. esp the last day when we're at the crematorium. dont want to talk abt it further.

2 weeks break. so many events. gkids camp, training, gyming, swimming, shopping,

i think its gonna be a fruitful one yet enjoyable.

anyways, cheer girls celebrated charyl's bdae today @ swensens airport t2.
met at 1 plus, chill till 4pm. hahaha. then the girls headed for tp while i headed to bugis for
camp committee meeting. i was kinda stone even before the meeting. i was like popping mentos into my mouth. haha. i even drank a unsweetened soya bean drink.
sighs.

dinner at macs before the camp comm moved to national library Hans to discuss.
we discussed and confirmed several activities. sandcastle building and the puzzle games..
and the many others..

then.. someone approached us. 2 ex-convicts selling stuff to earn money for themselves. as celine and xiaofen took out money to pay them, celine took out the 100k blessing sheet to bless the 2 ex-convicts.
one of them, MR. Xx ( i choose to keep it confi) he was quite open and talked to us for almost 10min. friendly guy. we blessed him with a prayer too and in return he gave each of us an additional key chains. (they are smiley faced ones. round- like a mini stress ball)

hahax. yes! i'm gonna run tmr. morning. then training @ tp. and hopefully shopping later in the afternoon. =D

i had a super fun day @ sentosa.

thats right after i finished all my tutorials. i woke up at 8 to finish them.

i reached siloso later than the rest though. but had equally as much fun as the rest did.

i had so much fun @ blazers chalet.

1) bbq>> i ate quite alot. 1 chicken wing, fried rice with curry, stingray, 2 satays,
marshmellow, 1 otah and 1 prawn.

the team did some simple stunts on the bbq ground. LOL. then the people around were wowed by our
stand up performance. haha. some even took pictures.
we then gave mrs keong a medal " the best coach" award. =) she was touched.

okies, then the girls moved up to the apartment to watch ghost whisperer.
its Geok ghee and my favourite tv prog. this episode is very touching. i am so glad i watched it.
sam, i mean jim regained his memory while trying to save melinda!! awesome!!!

someone suggested to tell ghost stories in the dark room.. lights off ..!!
they initially wanted to go to the red house.
i have no idea whre tat is and have no intention to step into that premies after the stories i have heard.
one after one ghost stories were told. some were personal experiences and some were passed down from
friends.
i was so afraid that i was holding tightly on to suhui and steph's hands. hahaa.

then bathing was a funny story. the girls did not dare to bathe alone. so we bathe in pairs. LOL. we even pee in pairs. (no peeking of the other party of course)

then funny card games and chit chatting till the wee hours of the morning. i knocked out at 5 plus and was waken at 8plus to go jogging down orchard road.

i am glad that i have attended this chalet. =)
and i am looking forward to the sentosa outing this sat!

the result: everyone received mosquitoes bites.

we took the boat ride over to ubin. trekked for 5hours!!
followed the trail and also took the off trail.
the off trail walk caused us to have loads of mozzie bites. legs arms..thighs.

thank you claudia for bringing e repellent!
we spotted loads of butterflies, and a family of wild boars!!

we also walked on the boardwalk. loads of pictures taken too.

hey all!

i am back frm my taiwan trip with my mum and ling.
the experience was AWESOME! ENRICHING! MEMORABLE! GREAT!!!

the whole trip was free and easy, so we had to do all the research,
plans for accomodation + travelling + food + places to visit.

we went to 3 main parts of taiwan.
Cingjing Farm
Shinshe Farm
Taichung

@ cingjing, we saw sheep, goat, butterflies, mountains..
i fed them milk and grass.. climbed steep mountains.. roar!
i have to say, the mingshu ( inn) we stayed at in Cingjing was a wonderful place.
so peaceful and quiet. and COLD!!
and for the 2days stay in cingjing, we had to climb up a stEep slope to reach our breakfast eating area. LOL. HUFF..PUFF..

the food @ cingjing is fresh and yummy!!
i like their cabbage and bakhuu and plain porridge.
we spent a whole day @ cingjing farm. walking and taking loads and loads of pictures!
i love the lambs. baaaahaaaa.. teehee..
when i baahaaa.. they followed!! so cute!!
other than cingjing farm, we visited the little swiss garden which is also in the vicinity.
the garden is really little. very small.. but its full of flowers and beautiful flowers and they
have a musical fountain! i must say.... their mini performance was captivating!

well, moving on to the next venue, Shinshe farm. we took a cab down. i took us close to 3hrs
to reach our destination. and i saw pi-pa for the very first time.
you know, the cough syrup- chun pei pi pa gao?
yup, i ate the fruit. its small and sweet and delicious! haha

and and and !!
intitally we had already reserved rooms for us at a particular mingshu,
however, the location was too far off from the main site of shinshe, so the taxi driver
suggested for us to change to another mingshu.
the first one we visited was delipitated. eww. kinda like a haunted house.
LOL.

and the next one was a total opposite. hahha. its so beautiful! huge and affordable. its 2800TWD per night. compared to the one we booked 3000TWD.

well, we had to pay in cash = 56ooTWD cause they did not have a credit card swipper machine. haha. so yesh we paid in cash.. and have 'headache' cause we have to count our money so that we will have enuf to survive until we reach taichung to look for a bank to change $$

and i have to emphazie that i miss the redpearl milk tea in taiwan!! i think i drank a total of 6 cups in my stay in taiwan.
of course the 6 cups of tea were shared with my mum and sis.

oh ya, coming back to the insufficient cash part.. we had to stinge on very thing.. cant buy much stuff in shinshe.

we visited pear, grape, vegetable, peach farms in shinshe. Lavendar park, princess anne park..
loads of pics taken in lavendar park.
we had a sumptious meal @ lavendar park. WHY?? cause its a credit card payment. haha

yes, and we made a few friends in shinshe. one family is the owner of a mushroom shop.

1 huge basket of mushroom = 20 TWD = 1 SGD

SHOCKED RIGHT??

and the mingshu owner who taught ling and i how to make pottery.
it will be shipped to us in 2mths time. =D
he was also kind enuf to help us change 200 USD for TWD

phew.

then to taichung. dusty, crowded, yes there were shops..
and goood naicha..
i managed to get a dress, belt, and 2 pouches.
we spent the last 2 days indoors.. window shopping.
we went to the wet market to get fruits and lots of dried nuts and herbs..

oh man... am so tired frm typing.

I HAD NEVER FLEW BEFORE AS A FLYER.
NEVER EVER.

i dint thought that i will have a chance to do so cause i am so heavy.
well,

i did it!! i did my shoulder stand, my very first 2-2-1, and 1-1-1!!!!
IT WAS A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT FOR ME!!

i flew today. initially i was like super kanjiong cause i cant get up the shoulders of melvin and bryan. i kept missing their shoulders.
i think bryan's and melvin's shoulders skin would have been torn by now. cause they both have sunburn and their skin were alr peeling b4 the training started.

try after try.. i still could not get up properly.. hahas. but with encouragements i did it!! thanks to the butt smackers. HAHAhaha.

i flew on all the bases present. melvin, bryan, justin, favian, terrence and larry.

i tell you, when i flew on justin and favian, i was so afraid that i will injure them lei. LOL
cause they are smaller in size and lighter than me. 'i think' hehee..
but they proof to be very strong men.

and you know wad?? favian tried to fly on me. haha. failed cause he jump too much and went past my shoulders when he shld have his foot on my shoulders. haha.

wad i have learnt for this training is that... if you want to do it... u can do it, when u put ur heart to it. and of course with the loads of encouragements from the team. =D

i had an awesome day today. its my 20th bdae and i spent it with claudia, pauline, zhiwei and benjiamin. mostly with claudia though. cause we went to sentosa for a tan.

i went to this korean restaurant on sunday @ joo chiat.
its an awesome place with autenthic korean food. they even gave us complementary food.
a whole roast chicken and steammed egg.

their kimchi soup tasted AWESOME!! and their beef, pork dishes are Delicious!!

i had a superb time wif my family. i ate until i was so full.. hahas. oh ya the appitizers, there were like 6 differnt types of them.. and then there were deserts- cinimon and ginner tea and water melon..

and talking abt their speciality dish, ginseng chicken. they had this ginseng rice wine which the waitress poured in.. and my whole family felt a bit drunk after that.. hahas..

and after lunch my family went to see DoubleBay showhouse. spent almost about 2 hrs there. the facilities and space seems very attracting..
they have this 5 storey artificial waterfall and this 3 storey high jucuzzi. awesome isnt it??!!
and they have loads of facilites available like a fully equipped bandroom, karoke room, playroom for children, aerobics room, library.. ! so many facilities..

and the penthouse was priced at 1.9mil. with monthly faclities fees of 400.
its just a viewing of house though.. dont know if there is intention of purchasing it.

well i just found out that i share the same bdae as 2 of my close friends.

Shuling and sharon!! woooot!! coolness..
19 march rocks.

hahas. i'll be celebrating my bdae with my cell tmr, @ cityhall area.
on the day itself, i'll be with claudia.. =D and maybe with family..
and i think i'll be celebrating with my zhonghua frenz too!! hahas.

i love soft toys, esp teddy bears.. hahas, although i got loads of them on my bed and beside my bed, i still love to have them.

i love pretty dresses too.. =) summer dresses!!

and i am so glad i bought that Outfitter girls black shorts yesterday. =D
its like $20 half of the original price.!! hehehe...
Awesome. i was at PS but they did not have the size i wanted so i headed down to J8. hahas.

i need to do something during this break man... i am like facebooking all the way.. =.=
hahahas.. and i have to be strict to myself to go down to the gym everyday.

wad is it like to have a boyfriend??

i am not sure.

therefore i am reading this book:

ILove written by Johanna Castellanos.

this book teaches me how to choose the right guy for myself.

the chapters includes

i have finished the first and second chapters..

CNY was so fun.. i was like camwhoring on the car with ming and joe (@ the last row of the car)

joe was making so many funny actions.. LOL.

and then the gambling segment started.

i decided not to gamble anymore

(cause i find that its not a great practice, although it is done only once a year)

i ate alot during the 2 days of break.

i love bak kua.. i tried to limit myself though. LOL.

i also love the yam cake and the beng kui.

i have enjoyed the CNY break. even though it is short.. i have enjoyed the time spent with my cousins and family members. =D

sick sick sick

i was not feeling well for the past whole week.
i had fever and felt super drousy.

On monday i had fever..
so i missed training.

on tuesday i had a super bad headache and left home right after PFP lect.
i was so dizzy, like everything is spinning.
i was like so afraid to go for training.. then half way thru the training i faint so i headed home.
missed training again.

the rest of the week was also the same.

wed, thurs and friday.... drousy drousy dizzy dizzy...

i felt so bad that i have to skip training on thurs again. =(

although i went to sch for lessons... i feel that my body cannot take vigourous exercise for the past few days..

i feel better now after resting on the weekend.

i am also feeling relieved that my comm skills meeting presentation, IF test and PFP proj is all over.. completed.

yay.

ROAR..
i feel so weak today.. and my nose's skin is peeling now.. LOL
(due to the rubbing and blowing of nose)

during the worship time @ Gkids.. i was so drousy..
i initially wanted to go home first..
but i figured out that Alex will need my help. so i stayed on.

after Gkids i head for home. slept thru the whole bus journey.
bought lunch.. ate it while watching Mr. Magoo and then slept for 90min.

then i did my tutorials.. International finance and Calculus and FOI

tried to complete the remaining tutorials

and then PFP proj.

i hope i am well enough to go for training tmr.

Most who know me will know that i am mild tempered, kind ^^, patient, very understanding....
but what most people don't know is that i am good in hiding my feelings.
i do not want others to worry about me, thats all.

when i am upset/stressed/angry/scared....
i wont reveal it to anyone. not at all.
i'll keep it to myself.....and i will act as if nothing has happened
its just my character.

somehow i think its unhealthy for myself, if this continues....for a long run

HOW SHLD I SOLVE THIS?
